Milton Pond

A visit to the Milton Pond in May provided an opportunity to soak up some sun, shoot some pics and exercise on a long hike on trails running along the water and the surrounding mountain. Following a short hike to the pond we were impressed at the beauty and serenity of the area. Living only about 15 minutes from this pond I never knew it existed. We planned on a short visit but ended up spending several hours on a nature hike. Everyone found a reason to turn the cameras on. We spotted moose tracks and fresh droppings on one trail indicating it is currently being used. Some found meditation very relaxing while others just soaked in the sights. A beautiful place which I'm sure we'll return to in the future.

The Milton Pond was a lot of fun, but I was really tired after that hike, I had fun taking pictures of all the different still life. It got very rocky in a few places, but we managed to get through, after that hike it was nice to just sit and relaxe for the rest of the day! Ahhh home sweet home.
