The Beauty of Fall

Since it's been awhile since I posted to the blog I decided to group a series of foliage pics together and include in one posting. Most of these photos were shot on a recent day trip with my friend Ray though Georgia and Milton including shots of lake arrowhead and lake champlain. The first five were taken on a hike with Katie to a trail in Georgia that she recently learned of on a school day hike with her class. We truly enjoyed being able to get out and capture probably the most beautiful season in Vermont. I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I enjoyed capturing them through the viewfinder.

Boat Ride

Ray and I turned 23 this past week and decided to celebrate on a lake champlain cruise. Following the cruise we walked to a nearby cafe to have lunch. It was a beautiful day to spend with some good friends.

Back to nature in Northeast Pa

A few pics from a recent visit to Pennsylvania. It was nice to get away from the rain we have been experiencing in Vermont this summer. Several days of sunny warm weather does the body and mind some good. The fawn are getting big but not big enough for mom to take her eyes off of them. We managed to capture a few boaters on the lake in Drums Pa and a lazy duck out for a swim. We found a beautiful nature trail covered with trees and checked out a friends 100th anniversary Harley. It was good to get back home but looks like we're headed for another week of rainy weather. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Feeding Frenzy

The addition of a few bird feeders to my backyard has sparked quite an interest in the local bird community. Several favorites of feeding time are included here along with our bleeding hearts that I forgot to include last week.
