A recent visit from this male Cardinal prompted me to wake up the D40 and open my eyes. The yard is bursting with color as these examples show. The lilac and rhododendron are especially colorful and I managed to capture a busy bee working overtime. Hopefully rain is in the forecast as my grass is in need of a good soaking.

That shot of that Cardinal is a classic! Nice to see you shooting and posting again. Very much enjoyed this series and as always I find the colors from that D40 very impressive.
