A recent ice storm provided a chance to recharge the batteries in the D40 and hit the trails. Katie and I found a few interesting branches covered with ice including some dried up leaves that I refer to as a snowcone of nature.

Very impressed with the new lens. Your shots are nice and bright and the detail is great.However most of the credit has to go to the photographer and his able assistant
